Bronte Natural Health Clinic is Oakville’s first and most experienced clinic of natural medicine, founded in 1991 in the heart of Bronte Village by naturopathic doctor Dr. Darlene Gustin ND. Our services are provided by a team of licensed and regulated naturopathic doctors, highly qualified homeopaths, nutritionists and natural health practitioners. Their commitment to excellence, continuing education, and a passion for patient care has been acknowledged over the years with many professional and community awards.

Dr. Darlene Gustin ND has always had a special interest in helping patients with cancer, complex and chronic conditions. After 30 years of clinical success, she has attracted a practice of thriving cancer survivors and is committed to maintaining their optimal health and wellness for many years to come. Dr. Gustin is enthusiastic about patient education, and has hosted tv shows, instructed health courses at the community college, lectured locally and internationally at conferences on nutrition, thyroid and lifestyle medicine. She is currently the co-host of WOW Talk Podcast with her patient, friend and thriving cancer survivor Donna Cappuccitti.

On a personal note, Darlene was born and raised in Oakville where she resides with her family. She is actively involved in her local community, her faith and culture, chambers of commerce, and small business networking groups. Darlene believes in giving back, supports local charities and fundraisers, and is a long-time member of the women’s charity Zonta Club of Oakville. She hosts Doc Walks which are educational local walks, open to participation by patients and the community.

Cancer Patients and Survivors – We provide health and wellness assessments as a naturopathic clinic with experience in cancer care. We offer personalized and integrative treatment plans to reduce cancer risk and support patients during and after conventional medical treatments.

Digestion – Our on-site Live Cell Microscopy test provides immediate insights into digestive dysfunction, helping us quickly identify potential issues. In addition to this, we offer comprehensive blood tests and stool analysis through specialized labs to evaluate and treat a range of digestive conditions. This includes symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), dysbiosis, and imbalances in the microbiome.

Hormones – Testing hormones is available through blood, saliva, or DUTCH urine tests. Our treatment approach includes lifestyle medicine, clinical nutrition, supplement selection, and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement. We help patients with a range of hormonal concerns, including fertility, thyroid imbalances, menopause, andropause, blood sugar regulation, and stress management. For women experiencing menopause, we offer a natural hormone that helps alleviate symptoms and support overall well-being during this transition.

Food sensitivity testing – We help identify and manage food allergies, intolerances, and IgG sensitivities. Testing is available through bloodwork, IgG antibody testing, and BIE (Bioenergetic Intolerance Elimination) analysis. These tests allow us to pinpoint specific food sensitivities, helping to manage symptoms and improve overall health by addressing underlying issues related to diet and digestion.

Complete Concussion Management – Our practitioners provide a holistic and integrative model of care for recent head injury or post-concussion care.
