Dr. Mai (Mya) Le, DC, RMT
Mai’s passion for patient care began during her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science degree. Motivated by her growing interest in health promotion, rehabilitation, and hands-on therapy, she pursued her Registered Massage Therapy education at the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. Through her education and clinical experience, Mai developed a patient-centered approach focused on pain relief, improved mobility, and long-term wellness.
Mai’s treatment style blends evidence-based massage therapy with movement-focused rehabilitation and functional care. She incorporates a variety of techniques into her treatments, including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, assisted stretching, cupping therapy, acupuncture, and therapeutic exercise. She has also completed advanced training in Full Body Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston Therapy, Functional Stretch Therapy (FST Level 1), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Functional Range Assessment (FRA), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).
Passionate about holistic care and pain management, Mai completed her Medical Acupuncture Certification through McMaster University and later completed an acupuncture diploma at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. These additional certifications have allowed her to integrate both traditional and evidence-informed techniques into her treatments to better support recovery, mobility, and overall musculoskeletal health. Mai also earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the New York Chiropractic College, further expanding her knowledge in rehabilitation, movement, and musculoskeletal care.
Mai is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s unique goals. She has a special interest in rehabilitation, chronic pain management, injury prevention, and mobility restoration, and is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most. Whether treating postural tension, sports-related injuries, or chronic conditions, Mai strives to help patients move better, feel stronger, and achieve long-term wellness through personalized care.
Outside of the clinic, Mai enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, painting, golfing, and photography.
